Today, our hero is 4-year-old Lika from Syunik province. Our lively girl is incredibly social, loves beingphotographed, and easily befriends everyone she meets.
As she undergoes treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Centre of Armenia, Lika lights up at the sight of a camera, eagerly posing and even inviting her mom to join in.
Whenever Dr. Saten Hovhannisyan enters her hospital room, Lika enthusiastically drops everything to rush and hug her beloved doctor. She’s so attached that she even retrieves postcards meant for her mom to give them to Dr. Hovhannisyan.
In the initial stages of her treatment, Lika was very afraid and sad. However, throughout this period of time a remarkable shift has occurred, and now she prays daily for a speedy recovery, beginning with a heartfelt plea: “Dear God, please, cure me.”
Lika can’t wait when her family -her mom and two sisters, will be reunited again.
Lika dreams of having her own spacious, pink bed where she can see sweet dreams once she returns home.
