Meet this week’s little hero – 9-month-old Vardan!

On August 28, he will be turning 10 months old.

Despite being so small, Vardan already has a big love for cars — his sisters say he’d be overjoyed to have a big one to ride in for walks.

During his treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, Vardan has built a warm bond with the entire staff. He also can spend time endlessly chatting with Robin the robot and proudly introducing him to all his toys.

One toy in particular is extra special for Vardan, that is a cuddly hippopotamus gifted to him by City of Smile. It has become Vardan’s inseparable bedtime friend.
