Today, we share the story of 6-year-old Andranik from the Ararat region. Andranik is a first grader, but he follows the school program at home and in the hospital due to the treatment process. Despite the circumstances, his favorite subject is mathematics, and he can easily add and subtract the numbers he’s learned so far. Whenever someone enters his room, Andranik’s first question is, “Do you know how to play checkers?” If they say yes, he eagerly invites them to join him for a game. Andranik’s little sister is still under one year old, so he mainly stays with his grandmother in the hospital. He always makes video calls to his family at home to connect with his father, mother, brother, and sister. Our Andranik is also deeply patriotic. He dreams of owning a two-seat car decorated with the colors of the Armenian flag, or at least one of them. Andranik wants to have this car, so that once he recovers he can pick up his little brother from kindergarten and bring him home.
