Meet Armen, a 7-year-old boy from Aragatsotn village in the Aragatsotn region, who is described by his peers as serious and humble.
Armen’s journey has not been an easy one. He is currently undergoing treatment at Armenia’s Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center for the second time. Back in 2019, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
After an intense battle, the treatment succeeded, and Armen achieved remission, giving him the chance to return home. However, in May, his health took a downturn, and it was revealed that the disease had returned.
Remarkably, Armen tackles his treatment with a serious demeanor, even answering the doctors in what seems like an angry tone, secretly hoping it will speed up the process and they will send him home sooner. His attentiveness is evident as he “never” sleeps throughout  the night when receiving medicine.
Unlike his twin brother Karen, Armen is very active and mischievous. He is extremely close to his sister, whom he misses the most while in the hospital.
Armen’s profound wish is to see not only himself but all children triumph over cancer and go back home. Besides that, Armen also dreams of having a pool where he and his siblings can swim together once this challenging chapter is conquered.
