Meet today’s hero, 3-year-old Artyom from Javakhk, Bogdanovka region.
This charming little boy has a keen interest in all things related to vehicles, and his favorite pastime involves chaining his toy cars to his elder brother’s bike, urging him to pedal as fast as possible.
Artyom is a hospitable soul, insisting on accompanying guests whenever they visit. He shares a close bond with his elder sister, affectionately referring to her simply as “sister.”
Initially, Artyom wasn’t too thrilled about visiting the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, expressing his reluctance with statements like, “I don’t want to go to Yerevan; there are too many doctors.” However, over time, he has developed a fondness for his caring doctor, Dr. Maneh Gizhlaryan . Now, he even mimics medical procedures on toys, helping his siblings understand and normalize the experience.
Artyom would love to own a giant car, but due to the challenging roads in his village, he’s set his sights on a more achievable goal—a blue bike. This dream bike holds a special place in his heart, as he envisions riding it with his brother once he completes his treatment and returns home.
