It’s Wednesday, and today’s hero is 11-year-old Samvel from the Vayots Dzor region.
While undergoing treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Centre of Armenia, Samvel misses his family the most—his little brother, sister, and father. But the one person he especially misses is his grandmother, with whom he shares a special bond. Samvel speaks with great excitement whenever he talks about her.
Every time he has a video call with his family, our caring boy always asks how everyone is doing, what they are busy with, and if they’ve eaten yet. He eagerly counts the days until he can go back home.
 Samvel also loves music. His favorite singer is Mihran Tsarukyan.
Since New Year’s is a time when dreams come true, Samvel shares his secret dream: he hopes to meet Mihran Tsarukyan and give him a big hug.
