On April 10-11, the Euro Regional Meeting of the St. Jude Global Alliance took place in Warsaw, Poland.

The Armenian delegation was also invited to this meeting and was composed of:

• Professor Gevorg Tamamyan, Co-founder of the City of Smile Foundation, Member of the Board of Trustees,
• Ester Demirtshyan, Executive director of the City of Smile Charitable Foundation,
• Lilit Sargsyan, Head of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, Member of the Board of Trustees of the City of Smile Foundation,
• Anna Avagyan, Pediatric Hematologist,
• Viktorya Markosyan, PR and Marketing Manager of the City of Smile Foundation.

This meeting aimed to unite and create a platform for collaboration among regional experts in pediatric hematology and oncology, as well as representatives of foundations supporting children with cancer in the region.

It is worth to mention that Armenia is the first country to join the St. Jude Global Alliance, represented by the City of Smile Foundation and the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia. By doing so, Armenia has joined other countries in responding to the challenges of pediatric oncology together, with the goal of ensuring diagnosis and treatment for all children with cancer.
