Yerevan – World Cancer Day every 4 February is the global uniting initiative led by UICC – Union for International Cancer Control.
Each year, hundreds of activities and events take place around the world, gathering communities, organisations and individuals, and acting as a powerful reminder that we all have a role to play in reducing the global impact of cancer.
This year, a social network flashmob was initiated by City of Smile Foundation dedicated to the fight against cancer in Armenia, entitled “Together We Can Save Lives”. More than 3,000 representatives from different fields have joined the awareness campaign. 
The purpose of flashmob is to raise awareness about cancer and malignant blood disorders and to support those struggling with these diseases.
We are very grateful to everyone who has expressed a willingness to join the flashmob.
